Have you ever wondered how a small action can have a big impact? Well, this is accomplished through civic engagements, which are individual and group actions aimed at identifying and addressing issues and concerns of the public. Considering that the youth is the hope of the nation, what we can do are: Local clean-ups, tutoring, blood donation, community association membership, voting, census participation, writing lawmakers, protests, and civil disobedience.

There is no time for hanging up or not speaking in this life. In a greater sense, we have a responsibility to take action against underprivileged communities. Some of us know how it feels when that help is so far out of sight, and we almost lose the will to live. And with the problems that our country is facing every day, we, the youth, must do something about it.

Despite the courage and drive to serve and help others regardless of the uncertainty of being rewarded, each organization perpetrates through its advocacies, the reality is that not all organizations are meant for everyone. Finding the right organization comes with a lot of work and dedication.

Breaking the old and reshaping situations through taking an action for the greater good. Establishing an avenue where people can reach out their hands to those people who are in need is beneficial in a community. With this, Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) have been given the opportunity to be recognized as a helping hand to society for providing projects, programs, and services that include, but are not limited to environment, social, and political work, sharing advocacies about human rights and public policy and promoting camaraderie.

Helping people at home, with or without money, online, and donating – are all ways to change the lives of people in need. From disaster response to pandemic response, Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) have stepped up as game changers in society.

Given the fact that our country’s rich biodiversity is under threat, can we take action in this regard? Can we help in any way? Of course! We can!

The United Nations listed quality education as part of its 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Promising in ensuring that learning opportunities are readily available to all, regardless of circumstances. In order to achieve this, teachers are needed in every facet of society, do you have what it takes?

Joining a non-government organization, just like any other organization, is not an easy decision to make. It may require us sacrifice, it may give us headaches, but at the end of the day, the feeling that we have - to reach out tothose that are in need — when we help the poor undermines the hardships we need to face.

We often hear the saying "education is the key to success," but how can we get there if some of us do not have access to high-quality education? Indeed, access to education is a right that society has turned into a privilege.
