“They say that even small steps toward change can make a big difference, but the question is where do we start?”
Have you ever wondered how a small action can have a big impact? Well, this is accomplished through civic engagements, which are individual and group actions aimed at identifying and addressing issues and concerns of the public. Considering that the youth is the hope of the nation, what we can do are: Local clean-ups, tutoring, blood donation, community association membership, voting, census participation, writing lawmakers, protests, and civil disobedience.
We can begin slowly. We can begin in our neighborhoods. We can begin with our circle of friends. We can begin with the organizations that promote civic participation:

Helping the families in happy land tondo who lost their homes due to fire
While the whole world suffers from the life-threatening COVID-19 pandemic, about 1,200 families lost their homes to a fire that scorched their community last April 2020. Packs of essential goods were distributed by Be The Juan PH as a small act of kindness to the families.

An online event that focuses on advocating civic engagement and more particularly participation in the national and local election of 2020. The event featured political leaders talking about how leaders are in the time of the pandemic.
